@aaronblake
Fun shot shapes, some sweet looking holes, grueling course overall for a middle of the pack amateur player. Not too lengthy but the elevation changes and tight lines make it a beast. Happy I play with some very attentive buddies, zero discs lost 😉.
@waltond40
Hilly Unkempt, do not play while too humid. A couple of awesome holes! I wouldn't play unless it was for cco.
@pastorporter
Great course. Demanding, but still very funn.
@obibongkenobi12
First time I've been there and shot central first only beenom sport for about a month loved it just wish they maintained the weeds better and deal with mosquitoes if possible
@ko4redsox
Need different color baskets, otherwise amazing course!
@gannonr
Extremely hard to find discs after throwing. Challenging throws that require technique. Only got through 7 holes before my group lost 3 discs.
@ezzyezzy
It's not a "play for fun" type course. Be prepared for long hikes up and down hills, and *lots* of looking in bushes for discs. I played fine, -2 but still had to look for discs on almost every hole. Shot shapes were mostly doglegs, and didn't have much variety. Play east if you want a fun casual round. Play this one if you want a hard, long, and tiring round. Also very poorly maintained. But overall 3 stars, rating it half to bring overall rating down though.
@stuartsch
This course maybe one of the toughest 5800ft courses around. Up and down. Back and forth. Extreme elevation changes, narrow fairways and water. Shot shapes and selection is fairly simple. Sloped greens makes for increased difficulty. Played without leaves and with frozen water. Imagine this would be extremely difficult during summer.
@billthecrusher
Unique with back/forth up/down the hills by the creek. Einter was suoer fun with frozdn creek and no leaves (I need a summer round). A step uo in difficulty from East for sure. Everything nice. Pack in pack out FYI
@robkuenzi
The course is amazing; certain times of year it’s tougher to play than others because of wet or muddy conditions. The deer were surprised to see me. With two other courses less affected by wet conditions, it’s not surprising this one gets passed over frequently in the late fall.
@chetman
This is a true wood course - it’s rugged and awesome. Keep eye on landing or better yet bring a spotter. I was alone and made it thru ok. Very fun. Glad I made the trip to play it.
@mobboss605
I'm 46 and glad I did this course, fun & challenging, but the hills are too much, probably won't do it again
@dangell1004
This was a great course. First time here! It was the only of the three there that we played but we had no idea what we were getting into. The description I read said technical and elevation which was true. But the changes in elevations are constant!! You are basically traversing and river valley on every hole. It is a very uphill and downhill course. Be prepared. But Definitely worth the hour drive. Can’t wait to play Cedar Creek East and West!
@markpong
Central is a beast, it will challenge you with nearly every shot shape you can throw. The rough is dense and punishing (especially the small burrs that seem to grow just for CCO each year) and the creek is a constant adversary. The club does an amazing job keeping up these courses! The course gets extra difficult after some rain with some fairways being very slick with mud and it impacts a few of the key teepads. It would be awesome to see some boot brushes and some sort of clean off zone near the pads on 2, 4, 8, 11, and 12. To allow players to get the mud off and help keep the pads clean on those tight shots. (We grabbed water from the creek to clean up 11’s pad which helped) wood chips on the paths leading up to them could help. Overall awesome golf especially for skilled players but could be less fun for those that may not be able to stay near the fairway or handle a moderate hike.
@saboelman
Crazy course in the summer. Fall will be very fun when vegetation is down.
@ostrichboy21
Amazing wooded course. All the courses on this property are amazing. Definitely worth a day trip! I
@tanman357
Not Cart friendly at all! Lots of random stumps and branches everywhere. Signs could be updated too.
@jonnyt123
Awesome course with lots of elevation changes. The scenery is beautiful. You can tell whoever made this course put some serious effort into it. If you would consider yourself fairly out of shape, I would say don’t play this course. Also, if you are a bad shot, you will definitely lose a disc or two. A couple things that would make this course 5 stars would be some trash cans and more benches considering how tiring it is.
@tannerbulock
Some tall grass in fairways. Rough is rough.
