Not maintained. Would have been lost if not for UDisc. NOT cart friendly in spots. Hole 16 looked like after thought (6 ft wide trail for over 300 feet). About 1/3 holes fun to play.
@cpaulding
Need upkeep. Grass needs cut and laying down trees in the way
@stradogin
Front 9 is abandoned and rained out before back 9, although it looked mowed.
@kycaseyking
Completely unplayable
@juto9p
High grass and lots of down trees
@marktrail
As a fairly new player I really enjoyed the short wooded technical holes. They were well guarded w trees requiring some placement tee shots and some tight approach shots. Very well thought out and fun course to play and navigate. Bomber players will like 2-3 super long wide open “dam” shots. I am forehand heavy so I liked the right side fades… I needed UDisc to help navigate from hole to hole but this was relatively easy. Once better signage is added (with a plan view of fairway and pin locations) and some benches (recommend a bench at each hole - but at least 3 per 9). This will be a popular course as it has tons of shot variation… well worth the drive over from Lexington to experience this course on a pretty afternoon!! All in all - a short challenging wooded course that will appeal to a wide player skill range!
@eddodiscgolf
Good course that could be great with some more upkeep, tall grass and thistle in spots made for some tough times tracking down discs
@rdillon3214
Lack of signs made this difficult to follow at times. The par 4 on top of the mountain was too far and should be par 5
@sheepdog62
Some trimming could be used on some holes, overgrowth of tree branches into fairways, fairways are nicely cut though.
@johnreaper
Mow more often otherwise 5 stars
@jackpot024
Whole course has been mowed, just in time for the first league day!!
@gvaughn0906
Okay Course, very hard to find discs if your not in the fairway. Not very well maintained.
@robert40777
Nice fun layout with a mix of wooded and open holes. Lots of challenging shots. They are making great improvements on the course by clearing out undergrowth and adding long tee pads. Well worth the drive.
@kylenic02
The course is coming along nicely! Improvements made regularly thanks to Tommy!
@jadentreichel
After playing for a year and getting to talk with the Park Ranger here, we have seen great improvements to this course. Morehead got a disc golf team this year and I think we have a good group of people who truly care for this course and want it to be nice.
