@jacobplatt
I'd save my time and money and play one of the other courses in the area. Signature hole 17 is actually a poorly designed disc loss situation. Feels more like a money grab than an effort to make a fun course.
@ajduffer48
Gorgeous backdrops? A hanging basket? Throwing from the top of a cliff? OH MY! Fantastic course! Word of warning - to play this course you must channel your inner bighorn ram! Lots of elevation and lots of uphill the first several holes. Hiking grade shoes are a must! Course is also quite rocky - while to be expected being a mountain course, if you're going on vacation and scoping spots to play, and you are not wanting to risk your favorite discs getting beat up or even lost (maily hole 17 has potential for lost discs) plan accordingly with some alternate discs. Elevation is also VERY much a factor, probably more so than the course at Lake Estes given the elevation generally is higher for at least some of the course and steep slopes on several holes - very hard to throw straight the whole way like many holes require.
@mattctp
Difficult but rewarding; big elevation gain/loss, technical shots, definitely worth a visit if mountain disc is on your list.
@srob15
When you think of mountain disc golf this is pretty much it. Lots of elevation change the first 12 holes. Don’t let the distances fool you, they play much longer than advertised and this will challenge intermediate to advanced players. Hope 17 is worth the price of admission alone, even with the risk of losing a disc.
@foodbaby06
Very steep and mountainous! The course is beautiful through the woods and climbing up a mountain. Incredibly steep but very fun and challenging!!!
@keefersage
Glad I played it but I won't play it again. Not even a good hike since trails are slippery with gravel. Very difficult to par most holes. Definitely not a resort course and for my liking, not a fun recreational course I would play again.
@grizzles
Views are incredible but disc golf courses aren't meant to be on the side of a mountain like that. Seemed a little cramped to me
@gyronaut
NOT FOR NOVICES! Definitely bring proper hiking shoes. There’s a liability form for a reason! Great mountain course (even though it’s not my preferred type of disc golf). Stable up your bag, discs fall out of the air quicker at elevation! Course description is misleading pertaining to the hike. You have to hike all the way up to 13 (not 11), then 14-18 (not 12-18) are back down (so 72% of the course is an uphill hike). Hole 17 is a bit gimmicky… blind tee shot 400+ ft down the mountain (need a spotter). A handful of the tee pads felt too short; being wedged up against rocks and such. Overall a top tier course, $20 is worth the experience.
@treoneill
This is a fantastic course. Surprisingly amount of care and effort put into its creation. Great signage, beautiful course, good hole design, solid pads and benches. Do recommend
@akg88
Really fun course. Good fairway design and basket placement. Pretty well maintained. Tee pads and baskets aren’t the best.
@efunkem
Really amazing course, great shot variation, mix of uphill and downhill. Fairly short course but ended up being a great challenge for those in our group that play a ton and for those who were playing their first round. Be ready for a tough hike.
@reisenauer7
Really, really beautiful course. Unique shot designs and shapes that you won’t see anywhere else. Challenging hike, but stunning views all over. Top tier course, highly recommend. Outstanding design and maintenance
@halfmoonslayer
Breath taking views, very technical mountain course, steep hike. 1/2 a star for not allowing me to park in their empty lot after paying $20.
@nickcasady
Takes your breath away. Haven’t played a course with clearly marked circle one in some time. This course puts Estes on the disc golf map.
@krishuber10
Amazing course, so beautiful up here! This is one of the most well kept courses I've seen in a while. Well done y'all.
@nateyo10
Challenging slopes and really punishing if you miss a line. Fun mountain golf course. Bring water
