@imchipwood
Won't bother again in the summer, may be more playable in winter with blackberries retreating
@samthebikerider
the first holes in the open field are fine. the holes in the woods are impossible to find and overgrown. playable with diligent spotting, would not play solo. could be a very fun course with major upkeep. will not be back.
@kcrab13
Overgrown and potential to lose a disc is high. Pants highly recommended. Course needs attention and maintenance but playable. Wind is always in play. Course definitely has potential.
@tsfreeburn
The potential on this course is immense. The views of the Columbia River in the Gorge are fantastic, the layout of the course is long and challenging. It just badly needs some TLC, upkeep, maybe some more involvement from the community, and flat out to be played more. Keep some of the long undergrowth in the forest trampled down some and playable. Since the course was put in, a lot of trees have grown up and there are what used to be playable lines, are now impossible to throw a disc. There's down trees blocking paths, and hole 8's basket has been smashed by a tree. In fact many of the baskets are well-weathered in somewhat tattered condition. Playable, but not aging gracefully. The vision and potential of this course are awesome, and it's really just like not enough people know about it and come out and play it. The local disc golf community, myself included, should do a better job of getting this place on the map, and taking care of it. It would be helpful if the Port of Cascade locks, who owns this property, would do more than nothing to keep the tall grass, invasive blackberries and ivies and other nasty stuff at bay at least around the playable parts of the property. Like I said this could be a great course, tons of potential, beautiful scenery, just needs a lot of love.
@parmcmuffin
Overall good course. Really fun if maintained.
@callmegoose
Now having been able to play all 18 (after a heatwave kept the thorns at bay) I appreciate the shot shaping way more. Open holes are still challenging with high winds and both wooded stretches demand some touch and good gap hits. Would love to see some of the sightlines opened up from tee to basket.
@rday1090
Seems that at one point it was a nice course and maintained. Course design is good but with all the overgrowth everywhere it makes it a very frustrating course. The open field shots are fine but the majority of the course is trash and blackberry thorn bushes overgrown everywhere. Don't throw disc's you like or be prepared to come out bloody.
@discking22
Lots of variety, but poorly maintained and labeled. Good mix of long/short and uphill/flat/downhill. Wooded holes are very wooded, spotter required. A few layout errors on Udisc. Overall a fun and challenging course.
@jasonaxtman
This course has potential to be something special. There are some natural challenges such as heavy wind gusts and bugs closer to the water, but the terrain is good and has variety. The pin placements are fun too. Some areas of neglect but if more foot traffic then the wooded area would not be so hard to navigate and locate lost discs.
@bowlbender
Needs a lot of work but could be an amazing very hard course. I mean a lot of work. Bring discs you dont mind loosing and a spotter.
@redhook91
This course is really fun with a variety of short and long holes, different types of throws, and was surprisingly beautiful.
@kaptron
Nope. Can't play all 18. Bummer. Could be a great course.
@jeremiahjohnson
Severe lack of maintenance on tee pads, fairways, and greens!
@vegigourmet
Great
@beans420
Lots of diverse shots. Creative use of space. Easy to navigate course but could use better marked tee pads; some play from the street with no indicator of where to throw from. Not a deal breaker! Fun course overall with awesome views.
@agwagger
One of the best courses in Oregon and 0 upkeep make it tough to want to come back.
