I played longs The course designer or maintainer needs to get with the local crew ie: people that are experienced and groom it so that can live up to its potential. Hole 5 is like trying to spit a pea through a straw. Hole 2 is tough because of the trees entering the woods and there isn’t really a hyzer line nor is there a forehand line. Hole 3 could stand to have the ceiling raised a tad but overall it is a fair hole. Hole 4 is probably the best hole on the course. Hole 6 you have to throw with probably 400 foot power for longs. Great attempt but seemed to not have taken input from the DG community.

Terrible course. hole one is unplayable, and the whole thing needs to be trimmed.

The park itself- beautiful. This course? If you miss fairway you’re SOL. On 1 there is no way to birdie. You’re throwing over the road towards the parking lot to the left, there’s thick brush that prevents you from making it in if you’re short of fairway. 2’s ceiling is low, thick brush to the right, and the fairway is very narrow. 3 is a nice long open shot minus the large tree with a low ceiling in the middle of the fairway. If you land in the brush to the left, it’s just a wall of thick briars. 4 is fine except how close you are to the dog park. Flip a disc and it’s a goner. Barbed wire, trash, old railway parts, XL briars, and rusted metal lines 5s fairway to the left. The ceiling is low and the fairway is narrow with an odd shape making it nearly impossible to birdie. 6 is tucked into a tiny alcove surrounded by- you guessed it- thick brush and briars. Unless you manage the perfect line. Flip too far right and you’re in more brush… and briars. Also, you can’t see the basket from the tee pad on any hole except 4.

Beautiful property and park, great tee areas. Unfortunately, it feels like the course was designed by someone who doesn’t play

6 hole course on land that can fit 9+ holes. All the holes are blind except hole 4. Hole 4 is nice.

Really tough throws. Pars are all but impossible on most holes. Overgrown wooded areas leaving no shot at times

Absurd “lines.” Would love to have a word with the course designers.

Easy to lose your disc in the overgrown brush if you don't hit your lines.

This is a very challenging course, but comes with its issues. Design is very poor from the first hole throwing over the road towards the parking lot into a 10 foot wide gap. Hole 2 is a very tight tunnel shot that is very unforgiving with heavy bush on either side. Hole 3 has a low ceiling and heavy brush and briars to the left side with the basket tucked back in a cove of brush. Hole 4 throws parallel to the dog park so don’t turn your disc over or risk losing it to a dog. Hole 5 is a long tight tunnel shot, there’s also a ton of briars and some barbed wire and debris to the left side so be careful if your disc ends up over there. Hole 6 is a nice open shot into a little cove. 6 holes is better than none, but if proper planning had been done there was more than enough room for 3 more holes. A good redesign and a lot of cleanup could make this a great course, but it seems like very little effort and design was put into it by someone that doesn’t play, just a lot of money. This was designed for highly experienced individuals, recreational players can still have fun here, but don’t use this course as a judge of your skill or the sport in general.

The worst rough I’ve ever played in. There’s massive thorns literally everywhere. And watch out for the barbed wire on 5! I had a disc 1ft in the rough on the left and got tangled up in it because it was hidden in the thick underbrush of thorns. The course itself is full of extremely difficult shots, highlighted by 1 and 5. 6 is by far the easiest to birdie, followed by 2 and 3. Some of these should be par 4. Oh, and I’m talking about the short baskets only. I can’t even imagine the longs. This course is dangerous and very difficult. Just barely miss your shot and expect to get cut up.

This is a very difficult, unforgiving, and odd course. The course is not beginner-friendly at all. It does not play as long as it appears on UDisc, but the fairways filter discs into tight gaps or areas where it is easy to get stuck in the rough. The rough is EXTREMELY thick in most places, so good luck scrambling. This is the only course I’ve ever played where I think adding holes would’ve improved the course. If the wooded fairways were widened, a couple baskets were moved into more open areas, and/or some of the holes were split into multiple smaller holes, then the course could be really fun.

Not for beginners. Technically challenging, almost too challenging for anyone but experts.

Some of the worst shot shapes, and the lack of understanding on how Disc Golf fairways should be I’ve seen. Super frustrating since it seems like a lot of money was dumped into the walkways and teepads… Oh, well, needs a total redesign to be worth playing.

pystol

The sitework is very good, with sturdy bridges, attractive stonework, and nice turf teepads. The location along the Clinch is enviable The course layout is more tricky than technical. There are safety concerns on 1 and 4, and playability issues on 2. 3, and 4. Premium baskets are positioned tight against briars or tucked into invisible pockets. With thoughtful redesign, this could be a nice 9 hole course instead of a tricky 6 hole one
