About the course

The course meanders through numerous habitat types. Key features are large open growth oaks, white cedar and hemlock forest, birch groves, old growth forest and an open planted prairie. The course offers some to very little elevation change. The wooded section of the course is moderately long with tight, technical fairways to challenge your accuracy. The open grassland offers longer throws to challenge your distance. Enjoy your time at this unique property that had a Spring fed creek running through the middle of it. Respect the surrounding landowners and the park, do not trespass or litter.

History

This course came to be in the spring of 2025. Lucas stabenau approached Suamico Parks with a proposal to install an 18 hole course that meandered its way through the various habitats in the park. After various meeting and public input the course was approved for installation in April of 2025. Construction of the course started on September 1st and continued through the fall and winter. Turf pads were acquired from the 2025 NFL draft. Baskets were purchased from Howard Parks using League Funds. The baskets were the former Pinecrest Baskets. Pinecrest League funds, Green Bay Area Disc Golf Club, Door Disc Golf and local disc golfers donated to purchase: Tee pad frames and gravel, concrete for baskets anchors, Tee signs, and navigation signs. All course work was accomplished by Lucas Stabenau and the GB Disc Golf Club members. Hole sponsors helped secure updated new baskets.
