@dicsmaster69
Not open on weekends, ridiculous.
@macbull
The lady at the front told us no disc golf on the weekends??? Only during the week. Odd
@trevorharris
Had a fun time playing this course. Good variety of shot types not many long holes but the wooded holes are fun.
@mileshackett
Pretty cool multi-purpose activity ground (disc golf, foot golf, ball golf). A few longer holes, but mostly short (200-260ft). Some fairly repetitive shot shapes off the tee, but some really memorable hole designs too (like hole 14 which offers a triple threat of hazards - water, a golf green and a bunker, super fun to play). My first issue with the course was that the signage could be better, specifically for identifying where the teepads are (sometimes the signs were on the wrong sides of trees) and some of the map signs for each hole layout were a bit misleading. There are signs with arrows pointing to the next teepad which is a nice touch (except for on #14 which points in the complete wrong direction, hopefully that gets fixed). We went the day after a lot of rainfall so hole #3 was completely unplayable in the woods, however, the rest of the course was pretty well manicured (although there were sections of overgrowth that could have used a trim). My second and last real issue is that some of the teepads are too obstructured by overhanging tree branches. This is a more a matter of course design philosophy, I personally don't think you should have to worry about branches in your face or most line options being taken by an obstruction over the teepad. Just seems like an oversight, rather than an intentional design choice to make a hole challenging (hole 18 with the Mando is the chief offender here - please do something about that). Overall, Buncrana is a fun course that's worth checking out at least once. My advice would be to go on a weekday like I did to avoid ball golfers and you also won't need to worry about booking a tee time. Shout out to the lady who runs the show there, she's very welcoming and helpful, especially with explaining the layout.
@skatenerd23
The tee pads could use some fixing but other than that it’s pretty good
@njburr
Nice little course, a bit soggy this round and time of year. Good amenities, nice variety of shots, not so great signage (UDisc to the rescue), tees are often lumpy but at least were dry. Will surely play again.
@jcf327
A few of the disc golf tees are hard to find due to the fall foliage. The course has good length and difficulty though the wind makes it a lot harder.
@jonahvansyd
Not open on weekends
@ngiancola
A fairly well-kept, short, (mainly) par 3 course with minimal shot variety. A great course for beginners and children. I was able to confidently throw a Berg on all but 4 holes. The teepads are turf, but are not laid evenly on some holes. Tread carefully! The layout isn't too hard to navigate. Watch for those pesky ball golfers though! I will definitely return with my friends that are new to the sport.
@jkinley1
Fun little course
@jakesimpson
Bring bug spray.
@vinylspins
Confusing layout
@alipski
Phenomenal disc golf course. If only this place wasn’t 3 hours from me I would come every day. I’d pay double to play on this course again
@thatsminty
Great atmosphere!
@wally43
Beginner friendly, pet friendly
@dailydiscgolf
Beautiful short course feel kind of squeezed in though. Basket circles on some holes need clearing
@sb6YKysUDU
Fun course with a cool variety of holes. Beginner friendly but still fun for seasoned players. Carts, restaurant and bar are an amazing touch. Service is 2nd to none.
@chedduh
Absolutely stunning course. Very beginner friendly and scoreable. Definitely favours the RHBH players. The course also intertwines with the ball golf course a bit but all the golfers there were super friendly! Beer fridge located at the parking lots is legendary. Edit: ball golfers come first here. Disc golfers not welcome before 4pm Friday-Sunday. Showed up to play a solo round and was turned away
@matrix4200
This course is an excellent intermediate course with nice lines, a good degree of ob's and obstacles...no long bombs or elevation changes. Its moreso righty friendly, and it was fun to see a few hanging baskets used. The owners are great also!
