Not to be negative but wasn't impressed especially for a pay to play course. Layout didnt seem to be thought out. The flow is odd and not an efficient use of space. kinda felt like baskets were just randomly and oddly placed. I was often lost and confused about the layout. The deerflys are brutal. The baskets are old and worn out.

Watch for fireants and deer flies. Hole 18 is inaccurate and couldn't find tee pad.

Starts out okay but towards the end, no tee pads or signage.

Big time lefty course. Lots of right angle holes. Jail all around. A couple open holes that are nice.

This place has potential with some TLC and some new pin placements.

Lord of the Flies State Park Disc Golf. The course was great but the yellow biting swarming nasty hobbitssss flies were not.

Holes 1-7, 13-5, and 18 were dry and the rest had standing water. It rained heavily the day before we played, so that is not the fault of the course. Lots of broken glass around tee boxes, most of which are concrete pads.

All reviews seem pretty accurate. Challenging accuracy shots 1-6, 7 is gravy, 8-9 are great distance warmup. 10 is sneaky sneaky, 11 is the most brutal longest into the wind shot. I got confused at 12 & 14 trying to find launches but the last 4 were average. Mostly right turns on this course. Brutal wind. Signage, inaccurate maps, hard to find launches all factors, but I really enjoyed mostly because I came out - 1.

I like this course not the baskets and holes 11,12,13,14 flow is just bad criss-cross fairways. 17 qnd 18 have no pads or signage hole 18 you throw across near 16s pad bad blind spot

Not a bad course to play if you’re in the area. The skeeters were out in full force. They fought thru 3 layers of bug spray. Course was fun. Could use a face lift. Some of the baskets are newer innova, which are great. The older ones have almost rusted away from the salty gulf air. Cool aesthetic. The last three holes need to be better. Holes 1-15 are solid. minimal tweaking could make this course more interesting. As is, I would still play again.

Confusing layout, over grown, post Katrina baskets. Disc golf is an afterthought for this park.

Some of the hole markings are incorrect and confusing. Only a few holes have t boxes. Areas are overgrown. Doesn’t seem like course gets much play. I was attacked by horse flies the whole time. Scenery is beautiful. Course could be great with more up keep and updating.

Great course in the gulf, beautiful park. Baskets and tee pads are a little weathered but it just adds to the nature of the surroundings.
