@wncjamesnichols
Fun course for all skill levels. Mulch tee pads ok since it’s a temporary course.
@b00m3r
Great to have this course in the area. Beginner/intermediate level. Be careful if you turn over to the right on 14, it can get way down in thick brush. The brush on 15 is still really thick too. I won't throw without a spotter next time. Lost discs on both holes.
@sherwood008
Short pitch and putt beginner type course in the wide open (no shade). Lots of elevation change on the back 9 with some great views. Very soft par 4s for an experienced player. Tee pads are trash, but was recently mowed when I played, but the rough is very very rough in the summer w poison ivy everywhere.
@mattchampton
Fun starts at hole 7. Lots of elevation. Beware of slick tee pads and tons of poison ivy
@gbryant328
Was.that DG I just played? Some nice views but feel design would be better for toboggan runs. Might try again when tee pads in but otherwise, no.
@david978
A fun local course that will be added to my local rotation. Very scenic. Mostly open but hey, we occasionally need a break from the tree tunnels. Lots of elevation, almost to the point of being repetitive, yet some truly fun shots. Opportunities for improvement: mulch tee pads often sloping up or down; footing often rough, uneven, and surprisingly wet in places; holes 8-12 (9's stuck in the middle) and 12/13 are too close together, especially in places where the play is to hang a big hyzer out to the right (toward other people) and expect it to fade back on a windy day. Worth a play but I certainly can't rate it as high or higher than Richmond, Jackson, or Highland. May 2025 Update: very overgrown with only a few walking paths mowed. We lost 2 discs and found 4 others had lost. I recommend you mark your discs.
@brystall
Happy for a new course in wnc! Had a blast playing, just wish they would have used the elevation better. Would have loved to have a really long one at the end.
@blackclouds
If there wasn't so much mud, better tee pads and signage and this would be a 5 star course. Fun and very scenic but you have to earn it climbing the ladder of holes to get to the top of the world! Can't wait to see this course mature!
@sledge1048
Not a great course not bad either. Had fun. Would lay again. Some of the pars seem off.
@savageaf72
Brand new, some beating in required. Throwers course for sure.
@emilyrose9591
Enjoyed the course, but the thick underbrush in the fairway and on some of the mulch tee pads made it a little difficult to navigate. Very beautiful scenery with a bunch if potential!
@figarowho
Really awesome for a brand new course here in Western North carolina. Thank you so much to Brookstone for putting in enjoyable course for everyone.
@jfehrman
First round here. Had fun and will definitely be back multiple times. It's great to have another course in the area. HUGE thanks to Brookstone church for the use of the land and to Innova for donating the baskets.
@justinh8675
Great new course for the area!
@espear1041
Great course for what it is, yes it needs tee pad but from what the property was it’s great. Solid place to work with putter if you’re an experienced thrower and a great place to learn the game
@bboyxamri
Fun course! Very scoreable for intermediate/advanced players. Several soft par 4s. The views are gorgeous on the back nine. Although, be careful on the mulch teepads. They can be hazardous to the knees/ankles. Looking forward to seeing more updates to this course and playing it more. Great addition to the area.
