@jritger
As a course designer, this is among the top 5 worst courses I’ve ever played. Too many safety issues to count in a very busy park, lots of potential interaction with other park users. No good holes. Many baskets leaning. All wooded holes lack realistic fairways and many are too long given the lack of throwing lanes. Tight space in a very nice, busy, city park with limited land. This should be completely scrapped and redesigned as a shorter course.
@badger45
This is probably in my bottom 3 courses I've played. There are a couple of interesting holes, but 5-8 are the difficult of poke and pray. 2-4 were decent, but had a lot of other park activity in and around them.
@brycegruneich
I was skeptical about this course given the reviews. While it is a nine hole course, the scenery is old beautiful Georgia woods, and the shot shapes range from challenging to pro tour level. It is nestled in the center of a large park and the there are pockets of 2 to 3 holes in the woods, separated by some short walks. I would say that the course favors forehands. Next time I come, I’ll play to both white and blue from each pad to make a full 18. IMO holes five and seven need to be redesigned as there is no clear line to the baskets. Prepare to scramble at this course.
@nathanbr2
So, The course itself is a challenging Wooded Course. Lots of tight lines to hit, so accuracy is key... That being said... Multiple Long walks Between Holes. And Multiple throws near or across Very active walking paths... So be aware of what's around you before you throw.
@janellefaye4
A lot of forehand shots, some holes just don’t have any lines
@bennettortale
Pretty mid ngl, plays around busy park which can cause problems, very bad hole design on some holes
@nick13
Fun little course to play if you happen to be close by. There are a couple dumb holes though
@danemo
Long walks between holes. Hope 7 is just plopped in the middle of the woods with zero line.
@bsgillis
Great little neighborhood course. It’s no problem level course, but not bad for what they had to work with. Could use some course maintenance and additional signage. Some holes do not have a clear line and one even plays through a pavilion. If those issues were fixed it could be a great par 3 course. If you have time to drive to another course in the area, go play one of the higher rated 18 hole courses, but if you don’t, play this 9 hole course in under an hour.
@bobbywims
Beautiful park but the course needs a redesign. Lots of unsafe shots for park goers. Throwing into walking paths and toward pavilions. Design no-nos! A few really long walks make this 9 seem way longer than needed. I did like the short and long pins and the concrete tees. The baskets a high quality. I see alot of lost potential here but with proper disc golf minded redesign and clearing of unused area this place could be a local disc golf haven.
@davidshanahan
Worst course design I’ve ever seen. Two of the nine holes are simply too dangerous to play if it is a busy day at the park. Holes five and six, share a fairway… Throwing directly at each other. If you are at the park, anyway, or you happen to be driving past it, maybe stop and play it. Otherwise, don’t go a mile out of your way to get to it.
@wparker22
Solid 9 hole course with multiple layouts. Has lots of potential, some longer walks between holes.
@ilpensatore16
Course was designed by either a middle schooler for a project or someone who hates disc golfers. Most holes just don’t have a line much less a fairway. A couple holes feel like just throwing a disc at the woods and seeing where it goes. Tees are good but all baskets are surrounded by gravel!! WTF were they thinking. Fun if you want a laugh at how bad a course can be but don’t play if you want to play discgolf.
@wjc00ley
I usually try to keep positive about courses, but this course has some very poor lines, lethargic layout/flow, & tons of congestion with all the other amenities in the recreation area.
@marcelkrige
Baskets are good but shorter than regulation. Tee pads are mostly good, but often not facing the right way. And the lines are non-existent
@jeffgary
Worse course I’ve ever played, definitely not designed by someone who knows disc golf. Not for beginners. Blind pathways with walkers, pavilions in the way on some holes, no fairways on most holes with baskets placed in heavily wooded areas. Very long walk between holes. One plus was they do have good next hole signage.
@jbombbbb
Nice tee pads and some challenging wooded holes. No real open holes. Decent hike between holes, made it feel like walking 18. All in all not as bad I expected given the other reviews.
@keithkline
Follow the signs or get lost. Watch out for pedestrians
