This is not a disc golf course, but a sheep pasture with Teepads and baskets. EVERYTHING is full of sheep shit - the teepads, fairways, roads, paths, pretty much everything but the inside of the baskets are brimming with shit. Which is a shame because the holes themselves are great, tons of elevation, different shot shapes, even a par 5. Maybe a few to many shots from high up. There is also quite a bit of walking between most holes, over significant elevation without any way finding signage, only playable with Udisc. As it stands it's borderline unplayable with all the sheep. Get rid of them and you can implement proper paths where you don't have to climb over fences and the shit is gone. At least they keep the grass pretty short. This is also a public park which is even more baffling.

Whole course could be really enjoyable if there was more signs letting you know where the basket is and where the next tee is.

Signage for the 18 hole tough to follow. Would appreciate hole numbers on the birdcages, and arrows pointing to the next tee.

Really fun course, great picnic area. Don’t throw discs that are the same colours as leaves though.

Would be the best course in New Zealand if it was trimmed regularly. Shot shapes and fairways are pro level and challenge every player. Definitely a must play if you are in the area!

Fun course. Would love to play the longer layouts some time. The ‘Family 9’ was perfect for a quick sub hour game on the way through.

MAN! Played the damn course solo and it's definitely hard to get around for a first visit. Wasn't the hardest, but damn. I little help with proper GPS for the T's, maybe a note what someone should be aiming or headed for. Udisc is definitely your friend.

So much sheep poop everywhere - we skipped family hole 4 because it wasn’t mowed at all and we know we would loose our discs in the waist high grass and thistle bushes

Thistles everywhere. Wear long pants. Tee boxes covered in sheep doo doo. Comes with the territory. Finding some holes are tricky but u disc helps. Some missing signs on the tee pads. Hole 11 labelled as hole 12. Hole 10 isn’t 124m like the sign says. It’s the obvious basket downhill over the fence and to the right. Basket for long par 5 (hole 13) pulled out of the giant stump at the bottom of a hill behind a tree. I reckon play it as a target for the moment. Otherwise hands down the best disc golf course I’ve played in New Zealand. The long course is very challenging and it’s easy to lose a disc but very worth the risk. Again it’s not for the faint hearted. The shot design and hole designs are impeccable. A birdie feels incredible on any of the holes and hard earned. Definitely the most elevation change (it feels like a solid hike) of any course in the country, so be prepared with plenty of water, long pants, and ready for a 2+ hour disctastic adventure!

Real adventure course, I only did family 9. Bring good footwear. Sheep 🐑 in paddocks so grass wasn't long but lota 💩. Basket 4 out of step with other baskets. Baskets could do with an arrow pointing to next tee for first timers and bit hard to navigate. But yes,I quite enjoyed the course n definitely be back

Gorgeous and fun area but signage and maintenance could be better. Fun course worth the visit. Wish the short course was more understable.

What an awesome little course. Quite technical. A few fallen trees, a dislodged basket 5 and some disc swallowing grass slowed play. Some really cool short downhill ace runs. A must play!

Play the shorter layout unless you are extremely good. The longer layout requires some 100m+ blind landing zone shots just not lose your disc. Very fun and picturesque spot with beautiful greenery!
