PSA - just because a course is hard does not mean it’s bad, as much as I enjoyed reading that one dudes review. The design here is VERY good. Yes it’s hard as nails, but the lines are there. I really liked the attention to detail with the stairs and paths from hole to hole. It was pretty easy to follow. Signage is bad. Needs an update, especially with how tight the lines are. I would play here again though!
@brickyboi78
This place is more overgrown than shaggys buttcrack. What a hell hole. The holes are very cool but if you are any bit off the fairway you are straight cooked. Have fun finding a disc
@bcnorval
A challenging interesting course, but definitely need to scout some holes and need much better signage for navigating course and some very treacherous paths on course
@brady4090
Lots of trees to miss but fun terrain and elevation change!
@klairvoy
One man's trash is another man's trash; An essay from a bar near Tower Ridge. The confusion began on hole 1. Immediately out of the car it's a mando'd 420' RHBH bonus birdie to a lonely yellow basket, hard but fair. Little did I know it was just the wriggling worm, and I, the unsuspecting fish. Hole 2 and I could've had something special, but I ignored the orange basket with it's number plate facing away from me. Probably the best hole on the course and I didn't play it. I'll always wonder what could've been. Hole 3, I again played to yellow, very hard but fun shape. Whoever designed long pad to orange basket isn't a disc golfer. Disc's don't fly in that particular shape. With my fake birdie in the books the honeymoon was almost over. Then I walked 2500 feet... for some reason. In another life #4 could've been a great hole, but we live in this life. Like the sun behind a storm cloud, you know it's there, but it doesn't do any fucking good now does it. Throwing a good shot on this hole was the last time I experienced joy. #5 throw a 360' shot uphill with a 10' gap at 100'. Fun. On 6 I walked back and forth between the short and long trying to figure out where I was supposed to throw. All I could see was a wall of shrubs. I threw the disc I hated the most with no expectation off finding it again. I verbally expressed at the time this was the worst hole I'd ever seen. At the time it was true. How young I was then, how naive. #7 is a gully shot with a wall of trees on the far side of the gully, that way 50% of perfect shots get knocked down and roll off a cliff. You midwesterners sure do love your gambling. FUN! I played hole 8 for 3 because at this point not even a 550' downhill ace could make me smile. Hole 9, what can I say? It's basically a walking simulator. First you walk all the way from the short pad to the yellow pin. Then you walk 250' up the long's fairway (towards the car). Then you play 300' in the opposite direction (away from the car) Then you walk 700' to finally get to leave. Overall this course is an abysmal misuse of land with an utter lack of understanding of what makes disc golf fun. This course is dogshit, donate it back to the neighboring dog park. 1 of 5 stars - would play again.
@muasleejmuas
Man I hate this course
@dtraincolt45
Love this course. Good practice baskets and practice hole. Challenging terrain, and lots of elevation. Fun course.
@brianphillips
Biggest issue is navigation to next pad.. and the rough well kill you.. stay in the mowed fairways Also the tee signs are printed small and hung low.. not cool. If youve never played here lay up or have a spotter just incase.. Needs alot more work
@onetrickpony69
Best to play after the leaves fall if you’re not an ace
@thompson2456
I left a green disc around the hole 4 fairway area, maybe just off to the left. Threw from another hole and the color is horrid in the tall grass. Has name and number.
@sjr1215
Technical course with historical info along the way. Fun 9-hole but signage is desperately needed.
@joshwang
Very buggy right now as its mostly swampland but I can see it being nice in the fall.
@natelee314
Lost a blue/clear innova (I think) driver on the back end of hole 8. Stay in the freeway!
@brandenulm
Wear pants and use bug spray, especially if playing in the evening.
@briarfrolf
Hilly af and difficult. Fun holes but be prepared to go up and down
@jbelter
This is woods golf at it’s messy finest, in my opinion. Tough tunnels, doglegs, and lots of trees to miss. Bring bug spray and wear long pants - the rough is very rough. Did I mention the trees? Great course layout with options to keep it interesting. Really beautiful piece of woods and a nice putting practice area at the beginning. Udisc sends you to the wrong spot but if you look at the map you can find the road to the parking lot, which is shared with the dog park.
