This is the 10th Udisc #1 state course I've played, and it definitely beLONGS (pun intended). The things they all have in common is scale, design, condition, and a great combination of challenge with fairness. Bond Lake has all of these. Clear fairways, punishing rough, beautiful grounds, extreme shot variety, all adding up to an experience that is rewarding when you succeed. I appreciate that short tees are available, but the long tees are really the show here. If you have a moderate level of skill, play the longs even if you're score is not great, just to know how a world class course is supposed to feel. There are always fair critiques: the walk between holes is as much as I've seen and using a cart is really tough at points. All considered, worth a high rating!
@hammerdenison
This was my 200th course played and it went straight into my top ten, especially after I aced hole 8. This place is awesome.
@sheascott2
Absolutely amazing course, my only caveat is BE PREPARED TO WALK A LOT BETWEEN HOLES AND BACK TO THE PARKING LOT BY HOLE 1
@anjeroo
It's easy to see why this is such a top course. Beautifully maintained and gorgeous scenic views.
@kclaypoole
Absolutely fantastic beautiful, challenging course. Tons of elevation change, plenty of shot variety. Big detractors for the borderline inhumane amount of walking between holes. Also the lack of signage between holes is infuriating. All that being said there's no way this doesn't score less than a 4/5. Absolute must play if you're in the area.

Played Wilcox and as good as it was i do believe this course was better. The only downside this course has is the hikes in between. 7 to 8 for 8 to be 250 feet doesn't feel good If there's a walk between holes make the next hole worth it. Then the hike from 18 to the parking lot is unnecessary. Overall the shot shaping and design is very good and aestheticly pleasing.
@tribonk
Played w a local who helped me w shot shapes. What a course. Beautiful is too mild to describe it.
@goroyals
This course would easily be five stars if it wasn’t for the long walk. The walk between seven and eight is a complete joke. Then there’s several other long walks and then the walk to your car is a joke.
@bpruz80
Loved the course!! Beautiful and fun. My experience was only killed due to the mosquitos that swarmed my wife and I even tho we sprayed beforehand and after hole 5. Sprayed all over us and still got bit in the hands, face, head, and more. Got stung on 13 in the jungle on the left looking for an errant shot. Lost discs on 13 & 18. The rain the whole round didn’t even phase the mosquitos. But, the property is amazing!
@shawnbackhand
Awesome course. Love the views. Difficult and fair pars. A gem of a track.
@apgrapids
Fantastic course worth the trip
@txusmarine
One single gripe, way too much walking between holes and back to parking,otherwise 5stars all day!
@andrewkavanagh
Incredible course - one of the best I’ve ever played and well worth the drive from Toronto. Amazing variety of open and wooded holes, requiring elite level shot shaping. Birdies are well earned here. Can’t wait to come back to play again.
@bobcatbuckface
As someone who lives in Charlotte, NC, I can comfortably say Bond Lake is still my favorite course I’ve ever played. Teepads will probably need to be replaced before Am Worlds next year but other than that this place is beautiful as ever.
