About the course

From Highway LA157 turn east onto Bodcau Dam Road. Proceed ~2.7 miles and turn left into gravel check-in area. Do not park on gravel or block RV dump station (concrete). Parking allowed on grassy area between gravel and highway. Fairways # 5, 8 and 15 are accessable from here. To start on Fairway #1 take small blacktop road downhill all the way to bayou and main campground. Park in front of pavilion or in gravel lot next to Teepad #1. Parallel parking permitted along all blacktop roads except main highway.

Someone must have been angry when they designed this. I know I was after playing! Anyway, after my 37 lashes, I feel like it's a gorgeous place to hike but a rather cruel disc golf experience. I doubt even learning how to throw would help!

This could be such an amazing course if they cut down a few trees, for instance: hole 15. There’s pretty much no landing zone for your second shot. Tons of elevation, tough shot shapes with some “unique” design. Upkeep is decent but it’s all dirt tee pads so wet weather is an issue. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.
