Tee boxes are too small. I really like the course design, a few back 9 fairways could open up a bit more to actually allow for a controlled shot instead of just getting lucky. LOTS OF POTENTIAL.
@kimjay
Warning: early July - I found no less than 10 ticks on me during and after the round. Open holes aren't terribly interesting overall, though there are a few really nice ones which use trees and elevation well. Wooded holes vary between really well-designed and impossibly tight. The wooded part of the course was the highlight for me. But overall it's a very good use of the available space, trees and elevation throughout. This is still a young course and clearly more work is needed. Clearing a few more trees and some branches on a few of the wooded holes would make them more playable. But already a lot of work has gone into making this a good course. Signage is quite good, though I first played tee 12 to basket 16, not reading the sign clearly enough. The massive failure is the teepads. As many people have noted, they're way too short. Given how much time and work has gone into this course, I don't understand this oversight/corner cutting. I was visiting family and can't wait to try this course again in the future and see the progress. Also, I think the UDisc round ratings are skewed for this course. Par felt like higher than 208 to me.
@chaney
Fun course, teepads are a bit small but looks like may be getting upgraded.
@defpeckard
Made the trip out to check out this new course. Glad I did! Great shot variety with a fairly open front nine and a wooden back.
@kennyhansen
Clean up hole 17 for more fair lines. Lots of ticks in the woods. Needs benches. Fraternity house plays loud music throughout the round. Great potential course. Look forward to seeing break in.
@bachmeierjake
Tee pads are small and could have been better…. Overall the course was pretty enjoyable a mix of open and wooded. The signs are impeccable best I’ve seen on any course.
@brock15
Little short teepads and ton of ticks but a good course and it's still brand new
@bigdaddyb90
The sign to each hole needs to be better but other than that everything was good
@lucasrogers
I liked this course a lot, very little repetitive holes most felt very unique. 17 is super unforgiving.
@bunyar
Course has a ton of potential. Wooded holes still need cleared out a little to make for better lines. Strong fun factor.
@jankyness
Really nice course. Half park style open, half woods. Lots of fun. Lots of shot variety. Will definitely be back.
@spex21
Can't give a 1 because there's been some maintenance on the front 9 but tee pads are too small, back 9 is a jungle. Poke and hope kinda stuff.
@esieniarecki
Fun course with some really tight lines and some ace runs.
@mcmisko
Very nice course on dedicated piece of land. Signage is excellent. The front nine is mostly open, with good hills the come into play, and some mature trees to navigate. Back nine is tightly wooded, almost too tight and need some more maintenance. I can tell they are working hard to clean up the back wooded 9 already. Great course!
@mrelliot
Great college course. Easy way finding. No bathrooms. T pads are too short. Front 9 and back 9 are totally different. Wind plays big on the open front 9
@plellio
I really appreciate the constant improvements.
