First time I’ve played this course in about 2 months. A lot of work has went into this course over that time. Fairways are well maintained and trimmed. Only issue I had was a bees nest on the right side of number 6 other than that had a great time.
@rustydiscgolfer
This was a great course. The fairways were very well maintained. One of the best maintained in the area. Looked like they just finished trimming. Course had a wide variety of shots. Wasn’t an easy course which I really enjoyed. Great concrete tee pads and some navigation next tee signs on trees and baskets. Not a lot of tee signs but UDisc is all you need for distances and pars and if you’re on UDisc then you don’t need them. Over all one of my favorite courses in the area. Will be back
@drewmanry
great course! might need udisc if you don’t know your way around. good mix of long/short shots and open/wooded holes, all while forcing you to utilize every shot in your bag. honorable mentions go to holes 7, 13, and 15(long)
@adamnkern
Fantastic course. The first few hole could use a little more trimming and I would love to see better signage at the tee pads but overall fantastic course!
@throwinbones
My first time playing frisbee golf, I made it 7 holes. Lots of poison Ivy and Oak. Lost a new driver on the 7th, left side in poison ivy and hornets nest. Dead fawn in front of basket on 7th. Seemed like a really tough course. I called it a day after that.
@a94stang
I only give this a 2 due to so much poison ivy. Otherwise it would be a 4 for me.
@theginganinja
This course is great! Needs some love but has the foundations of a gem. Recently added concrete tee boxes are really nice. Feels weird playing at the course because it’s located on an elementary school campus (which is absolutely beautiful) and signage is minimal. Bring some max deet and be prepared to abound poison ivy the entire course. Otherwise fun and challenging course!
@ianhumphreys
Needs maintenance
@jlan4d
Fairways are almost impossible for the average player. There should be a way to birdie each hole but many are almost not able to be done. It is great if the fairways were opened up more.
@baronkinder
Dang good, pretty difficult course, will be excellent with tee pads.
@wncjamesnichols
Tough for beginners. Still fun.
@jtgrasty
I can't wait to see what this course becomes. It has the makings of a gem, as it comes into shape. My first round was very enjoyable!
@bigpoppa68
After leaving a bad review, I decided to go back and give the course a 2nd shot. My experience was better the 2nd time as I didn’t walk off the course in disgust. There was some maintenance done since my first round. Hole 1 is difficult to find as are all the holes on the entire course. No structured Tee box areas and no signage at all. There are way too many blind shots and #2, 4, 6 and a few on the back require 80-100’ placement shots just to me able to throw to the next location and then to the pin. Or come up with miracle shots that snake through a sapling forest. The course is just not that enjoyable over all. Several holes are open and several more require technical shots. Those are the enjoyable holes. Others are just bad layouts and impossible shots. It appears as though the school doesn’t want to invest in the course or allow improvements despite the efforts of others to keep it maintained. MUCH more trimming is needed and the layouts need to be redesigned on several holes. Great shots don’t set up to be rewarded on several holes as the open areas have creeks running through them or low hanging limbs like 17. A few of the pins are on severe side hill lies so a great approach can roll 20-40’ away. Several baskets are missing numbers and others are miss-numbered but at least they have a number on them. They are the only signs on the course, even if they are wrong. I upgraded my rating to a 2 just because some maintenance had been done since my initial visit. I offered my services to help make this a better course but I am not sure what can be done as the property is county owned. The place has potential but without support, it will not be possible to be a great course….ever! IMO, each hole needs an individual plan and issues need to be addressed 1 at a time. Tee boxes and signage would make the place 100% better. Tree trimming and cleanup would also enhance the experience. Perhaps the most frustrating part of the course is having to walk 3/4 of the way to the hole in order to see where it is, so you can formulate a plan of action. A great first impression would bring people back. Whats happening out there is driving them away. With the haywood CC and rec center courses in the area, I can’t imagine why anyone would make a return visit to Bethel for a fun relaxing round. Maybe for a tournament, where everyone has to embrace the conditions, its fine.
@jeremiahordiway
Going to be so fun when pads are in and gets a little more play.
@turbocraig
Nice course design!
@tommysees
It’s gonna be a great course. Needs some more love - but it’s coming along nicely. Had a good time out there.
@ogjacknasty
No tee pads, all boring open shots, wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to play this course.
@bluda24
Needs some mowing
@salmonlee
This really isn’t a course. It’s 9 holes randomly in a field. No tees or signs etc. don’t waste your time unless you are close, which is random because it’s in the middle of nowhere.
@jackcollins
No. 9 adds an extra challenge with a thorn tree growing through it. Bring machete.
