I feel that this course is emblematic of the city of ionia itself. It's as if a very dedicated person was very excited about disc golf and was able to convince a few other people to donate money. There was obviously a lot of thought put into the shot design and the basket placements. However here is what happens in ionia. The person who was very excited eventually finds that the support they had dwindles. Because they're the only one who cares period after this, they grow frustrated and they move on to a different town or a different job period. After that person leaves no one else is there to care and it just goes to pot.

The course is definitely challenging! UDisc info on where tee pads and baskets are all very accurate. After a recent storm there are some downed trees covering the basket on hole 14 and a few small ones down over pathways. Overall a fun, HARD course!

The course is actually a lot of fun to play. However, the signage is awful. Tee pads are worse. The shot shapes and lines are great though. If this course was kept up it could be a great hidden gem

Very possibly my new favorite course! Challenging but not unenjoyably so; rugged but not unenjoyably so. Give it a go, just wear grippy shoes - some bits are steep and slippery.

An exercise to not swear on every hole was had! How do all holes but 2 play uphill..??, seems a geographical anomaly! Torture yes, fun not really, would I do it again, absolutely!

This course is unplayable, no maintenance in what seems like 2 years.

Course seems nearly abandoned. Downed trees, overgrown fairways, pine needle covered pads, hidden paths, etc. Bugs weren't as bad as they can be. Gunna need some attention before it's worth throwing again...

Needs all the maintenance. Could be good if they did any maintenance. Not worth the $2 parking fee.

Course was unkept, downed trees in the first few fairways. Extremely hard to navigate even with UDisc. It was extremely hard to get from one tee pad to another, because there are no tracks or trails between trees.

Bertha looks and plays like a jungle, the course is in terrible shape!! Zero upkeep!!! It's awful!! The county should be ashamed of how they are taking care of this course, or that lack thereof.

Signage is rough. Best time of year to play. Update..... 2/12/24 way to go bertha brock .. got it looking like a disc golf course again. Thank you and am always willing to help maintain. Please lmk

REALLY STEEP!!! The course needs a few more trees cut down. The astro turf pads get muddy and slippery. Really needs concrete. Otherwise it could be an A+ course.
