@rabbrrt
It’s definitely a nice course but instead of bad shots punishing just your score card, they also remove that disc from your bag
@okkevin
This has to be a top 3 course in Texas. Brutal but fair.
@discrabbit
A masterpiece in course design for this land. Challenging for blue/silver players and still good fun for those still in skill development
@mikerayburne
I really do like the course. The only drawback is it has been raining and there are a lot of staining water areas where you don’t necessarily lose your disc, but it just slows down play but that’s if I’m being picky.
@bpalmer3
Very good and well designed, rough is extra rough XL don’t go in there
@corbend
Pack extra shoes and bug spray, pretty wet and muddy with lots of mosquitos.
@astrotexan
The new layout and hard work from the Hill Country Hyzers. Nice benches, bridges, long concrete pads, short tee markers, signage and nice overall cleanup the course. Definitely one of the nicest courses in the area.
@nathanalleman
Tom of great work done here. Very tight but fair. I agree with others I could do without the artificial OB, the rough is bad enough. Definitely worth playing.
@caligirl
Great course. Didn't play horrible after several inches of rain, but definitely was wet, not terribly muddy due to the grass throughout. Definitely had standing water
@cougar
Really fun and well kept open and wooded course with challenging, but fair lines
@gofarandfast
Great improvements being made on the course including concrete tee pads and new layout. Good mix of open and tight fairways.
@dingersonly
The property is long and narrow and handles runoff water from the surrounding neighborhood. For the space’s limitations, the designer and club have done a very good job. Seems like back nine has a lot of fairway cleanup left to be considered nice. Rough is so thick that it’s extremely difficult to find anything even a couple of feet off fairway. Once finished and thinned out, easily 4 stars. As is, it’s a 3 but obviously unfinished and will be better.
@edge812
Course looks great. Well maintained. Every hole is gettable and every hole is a challenge. Love the links style layout. Play out on one side of creek play back on the other. Stay in the fairway. Rewards accuracy
@orionh
Not a fan of hole 13
@rowdyj
Watch your disc all the way down and mentally mark the spot, so you don’t slow play!
@tiggar
Good natural vibes still. A nice amount of danger, shot variation and distance. Definitely score-able, but you have to bring your A-game, no doubt. Would absolutely recommend. Look forward to my next time out here.
@moia80
New design is good,
@nathant13
Love the new layout! Much-needed improvements on tee pads and clearing undergrowth. Still work to do but I can't wait to see what it has in store!
@xanerwin
Best new course up north! Unique lines and a diverse amount of shot shapes. Healthy foliage with several creek features and elevated baskets. Great mix of long and short, open and technical. Concrete tees, creek crossings, tee signs, new baskets, practice baskets, and basket accoutrements are the chef’s kiss. Mike Olse has done it again. 👍🏼
@turboatx
Redesigned course tests all shots in your bag. All tees are now concrete. The course is well maintained and pretty shady. 7 elevated baskets add to the variety and the challenge. Still a relatively short course that puts accuracy above distance.
