Awful maintenance, tall grass all over the fairways and greens. If you're looking to have a scavenger hunt every single lie, then this is the course for you. Also super dangerous to walk through, no clear paths for golfers, only walking across tricky terrain. Tee areas were awfully made and not even secured, they wobbled around so much while on them, it's probably be safer to not even throw from them. Tee signs were pretty good, however. Obviously hardly any amenities cause you're on a mountain side, but beautiful view because you're on a mountain side. They claim they sell discs at Ski Beech Sports, but all they have are a couple side bags. Otherwise, this course looks lazily thrown together to make a quick buck off the disc golf community rather than actually growing the sport. With the revenue the ski slopes generate they should be able to do a lot better than this. I've played small courses with hardly any funding that are better. I would never recommend this course to anyone in its current shape, a lot needs improved.

Save yourself the trouble of actually playing the course and just use the $20 lift ticket to ride back down the mountain after the bar. The hole designs are very questionable, and have major lost disc potential on even good shots. Way too easy to lose a disc even inside circle 1 on some holes. There is absolutely zero course maintenance, making walks unnecessarily treacherous. By one basket there was a stack of old beer cans, clearly from many years skiers on Beech and just dumped there. Teepads as noted by others are unstable plywood strips with zero run-up. Save yourself the trouble if you’re wanting to make this a disc golf destination and go to another well cared course in the area.

Holy wow was this course terrible. I was super excited to throw off the mountain and get to play where I ski. The lack of upkeep, terrible course design, and clear no love of this course was super apparent. Far too many holes where it was more than easy to lose a disc within circle 1. Holes either started open and went to the edge of non enterable woods or were 150 feet uphill through trees with little fairway. Shot -5 and would not play again

Amazing views and fun shots. Sketchy tee pads and thick foliage can make things difficult

Very fun course, different than what I’m used to, but very difficult to navigate and constantly had to be on the lookout for mountain bikers. AMAZING VIEW.

Only reason this course isn't 5 stars for me is the teepad quality, they're somewhat unstable and incredibly short for anyone who has a larger wingspan. Lengthen the teepads, but besides that this course is beautiful and the course design itself is a blast, with eagleable par 4s for players with intermediate-advanced power.

NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY have to ride a ski lift to hole 1 Nightmare of a course. Could be incredible but there is zero maintenance in the spring/ summertime it seems (which is really the only time to play.). The tee pads are way too small , constructed of plywood that is now rotten with cheep turf, and sit on the slope of the course completely unlevel. In some instances you are throwing your tee shot at a 45 degree angle (hole 3) In all honesty, just get rid of the wood pads and have someone cut some level tee areas into the dirt. It would take a shovel and a guy or two. It may seem nitpicking to mention all these issues, but this is a 20 dollar pay to play course and has worse maintenance and amenities than 99% of all free courses. It’s a shame too, because mountain course usually yield very high ratings. This could easily, EASILY, be a destination course with the right designer.

Directional signage is needed. The grass is way overgrown. I would wait to open this course to the public until it is worth the $20 ski lift. Temporary benches would be a huge plus.

Beautiful course overlooking the mountains. Course fairly well maintained with decent pads, baskets, and hole info posts. Good spots to stop at the top and bottom of the mountain. Definitely need a map in order to navigate the course.

A fun and beautiful course! A bit of a challenge if not used to elevation changes or windy conditions. This course could be great but its really lacking signage and walkways. Was kind of sketchy trying to get around in some areas, and had to walk up fairways that someone could be throwing on to get to the a couple tees. Grass is pretty tall in areas too so had to use spotters regularly. That said would still recommend!

Very difficult to know where the next hole is and there weren’t paths which made trekking to the holes challenging

Very scenic course with some fun downhill shots! Holes 16 and 17 are good wooded holes. Keep an eye on discs if they land in the rough! Hole 8’s teepad was nowhere to be found. Follow Udisc map to make it to the next teepad.

6 foot high grass on most fairways and major elevation changes make this a technically tough course. No trees to hit but nailed a chair lift pole. The views while playing were absolutely amazing too. Nice to play at least once chair lift ride up to 5506 was fun and brewery at the base for a 19th hole bevy!

The lady and I are in our 3rd season op playing this gem. Year 1 was fun. Year 2 was improved layout and better, but the changes this year take it all the way! TONS of wildflowers, tough but honest front 11, short and technical back 7. Highly recommended! Oh, did I mention the brewery ON-SITE!

Wow!! This was so cool. The ride alone to the top was worth the price of the lift. If you play at any level this is one course you want to make sure you play. What would make it even cooler would be some discs and swag in the main shop. The brewery is strategically placed after hole 18. Much needed after the play. Thanks to Beech Mountain. Here again on Sept 1. Awesome time!!
