About the course

Play through rock formations, over water, through tight fairways, and elevation! The Main layout is one of St. George's most difficult courses. You will find yourself rewarded for good shots and punished for bad ones. Fairways are tight and lined with thick brush. The course becomes more difficult in the summer as rain and warm weather brings significant growth to the plant life around the course. This is the ultimate challenge in Southern Utah. The Quick 9 Hole Loop layout is great for beginners as it avoids many of the most difficult holes on the course. The layout also provides players with a layout that plays faster and ends back where you started. Intermediate, Amateur and Pro players will find challenges on every hole with demanding tee shots, narrow fairways and specific landing zones. Beginners will find significant difficulty on many of the holes in the Main layout. Tee shots must be straight and accurate to avoid being punished off the fairway. It is recommended for beginners to play the "Quick 9 Hole Loop" layout as it avoids many of the difficult holes and is much shorter overall. Methodical and careful play will result in lower scores while being reckless and inaccurate can lead to many extra strokes.

This is a very fun canyon course. You will need a variety of shots in order to score well here. Hole distances vary in length and there are a couple of par 4 holes too. Slight elevation changes with throwing both uphill and downhill shots, but overall it is pretty flat. You will need to be accurate and keep your disc in the fairways as if you get in the rough, the scrub trees will most likely cut your up a bit and it will cost you at least a stroke to get back out into fairway. Scenic views and a solid play if you are in the area.
