The course is just destroyed. Muddy, all the trees got removed. This used to be a magical course now it's just sad.
@nbuyense
This course has been butchered since the last time played. Sad when it used to be a favorite outside of the cities
@brenmarie
Upkeep - This course should not be open for play. Half the holes have hazardous debris making walking and taking a stance difficult. The last few holes seem to cross each other causing a hazard if there are players on all the holes. The new 1 crosses 18. There is potential but new holes should be ready and safe before baskets or pads are moved. Shot variety/design - There is potential but it’s hard to tell since the course is a mess. Tee areas - The holes with tees are fine but several don’t have pads. Signage/wayfinding - None of the signs are correct and wayfinding is challenging even with uDisc. Amenities - A few benches and garbage cans. Bathrooms exist but some are locked. Scenery/views - either grass or a mess
@iadspeed6
This course needs help. It seems to be in progress of renovation. Holes 2-4 are rough, and 14, and 15 are also pretty unplayable. I think this course has potential but is nowhere near ready.
@kerrusi
This used to be a fun and beautiful course. The wooded holes have mostly been destroyed. An excessive amount of trees and underbrush have been removed. This used to be one of the best courses in the Rochester area. It's really sad what the city has done to the course.
@trueharleygirl
Everything you could want in a park course! Mixture of open and wooded, flat and hilly with a small creek running through. Benches, bag hooks, garbages, tapered concrete tees, only improvement would be better baskets. Sign pars are very beginner friendly but there is a layout for pro pars. Fun for all skill levels.
@stillwaiting88
Really hoping for a bigger picture redesign after the absolute destruction of this once beautiful course .
@flythatknot
The pins being moved before the areas are ready for them is 100% a safety hazard with all the cut down stuff still just laying there and smaller trees cut a foot above ground level.
@bigwhoop
About 2/3 of this course is really pretty fun. And the other 1/3 is throwing in open fields.
@camcamcam
Course is going through some updates currently. Signage and lengths and overall flow is in need up updates/improvements. On some of the modified holes, you can’t tell where the fairway is supposed to be. Much brush and undergrowth has been removed, but not completely leaving the risk for turned ankles. The fact only 16 holes are available, despite having 18 baskets in the ground is a little annoying. Seems like these should be left as part of the course until the new holes are ready. These updates will likely be a good change for the course, but the interim phase does make it a little worse from the historical layout.
@squeakycurds
Used to be one of my favorites. It sounds like they are done with making their changes aside from moving some t pads and it’s disappointing. Tight lines in the woods are great, but several of the holes are just poke and pray with a ton of trip hazards and unkept fairways.
@bagelbandit
Cool course would rate higher if the first 5 holes weren’t just wide open across a field but once you get to the woods there are some really cool shots and foliage. Nice wide level tpads with brooms to sweep and benches.
@abaker
Needs love
@ummyaumm
Not great variety. Lots of holes have no lines. No signs to find the next hole.
@prestidigit8tor
Well maintained park course with mix of open and wooded holes. Signs are not the best and a couple spots are a bit confusing. Would like to see signs with hole maps added. Baskets are older but mostly fine. Pars are set at a more beginner level.
@kamelman13
Well maintained park with nice tees and some fun shots. Navigation is okay. Baskets and tee signs could use an update. Some of the holes have no obstacles to speak of. Pars on Udisc seem a bit off.
@hare63
Not the same, destroyed.
@michaeljames14
Definitely disappointed about all the of the changes here. Get local input before changing things up
@whitebenumb
Really decent 18 , the woods favor southpaws
@jasonerdmann
Goats and electric fences, making some holes difficult/unplayable
