From southern Louisiana and I've never experienced mosquitoes like there are on this course. Mid day, windy, and still an unstoppable swarm followed me the entire time, eventually walking me off the course. Aside from the bug issue, the front 9 lack shot shaping. Multiple tees give the opportunity to either throw a shorter or longer hyzer/straight without much obstruction. Tons of broken glass throughout the fairways and in general on the course.. Maybe the back 9 gets better but I'm not willing to lose more blood to find out.

Great new course that is spread out around the park with some longer walks between holes on the back 9. Easy to follow. Some shorter technical shots and wide out shots. Beginner friendly with a longer layout to add difficulty. I'm excited to see this course get worked in over the next couple of years.

This is a solid course with 2 sets of tee pads on many holes. Shots range from long to short, and there are good gaps and lines to hit here. The wooded holes have just enough teeth to punish errands shots, but you should be able to get up and down. The flow is spread out a bit and walks from 11’s basket to 12’s tee and 16’s basket to 17’s tee are long. The transition from 16 to 17 slows the flow of the round down and bit. Overall a fun course that will test your shot shaping abilities. A nice addition to the area and it pairs nicely with its sister course Kelly Park.
