On UDisc it says that you need to schedule before coming but I didn't see that and came anyway. Oops. Now I'm not saying that you should do this, but I was greeted by a kind lady that allowed me to play anyway. Thank you! I love this property! It's so unique and interesting. There's little random stuff and equipment scattered throughout which really adds to the feel of the course. Nearly every hole also has a bench with a table. Some are made of stone, others mostly made of wood, each unique! Some pads are rubber mats, but some pads are concrete. It'd be nice if all were concrete but the rubber pads does okay. They're slippery when wet though, but when dry they're decent. There's little to no signage whether it's at the hole describing distance and par, or signage to help you find the next hole, nope none of those. Only a number to let you know which hole number you're at. With that said I'd say having UDisc on hand is essential when playing this course elsewise you might walk to the wrong hole and maybe in circles! 😵💫 Most of the holes asks for something different. There's lots of factors influenceing your line of choice, whether it be height, obstacle, the size of the fairway, or distance, there's good shot variety. There are a few open field holes, then there are some very tight wooded shots! I think at hole 14 we are introduced to the grid-forest which looks amazing and honestly quite magical. There were some bugs out but with some bug spray things were manageable. The grass were high in some parts but nothing most people can't handle. After 27 holes though, I was pooped and it was getting dark. On the way back to car I was greeted by owner of the course and was asked about how well I did (+10, ouch! Lol) and if I had lost any discs, I didn't. Cool that the course owner will take the time to greet me and share a bit themselves, grew up from still water, and managed am-worlds 2014! Awesome! Overall, a super cool course. Things can be a bit more well kept but for a private property course I'm not really complaining and am really just appreciative I got the opportunity to play. Keep up the good work and I'm for sure coming back!

Wow so glad we got to meet and play with Steve. Course was so awesome
@flaviventris37
Great course! Great owner! Tough but fair course. Shots that miss the fairway will be in the tall stuff and chance for lost disc. If I lived in the area, it would probably be my favorite course.
@janderson42
Easily one of the best courses in the state. Ive played virtually every course in wisconsin, and this is a must play if you consider yourself a wisconsin disc golfer. Steve is such a cool guy. Will be back again for sure
@bogester
An absolutely stunning course in every way. Owners are very cool. Course has a ton of character and a lot of neat lines. 100% worth the drive for anyone who loves Wisconsin disc golf
@travismc3p0
Such a pretty course with a great variety of fun throws. A property many disc golfers have dreamed of having!
@orangechicken
All in all a good course, not in my top 10 within an hour of Eau Claire. It has some rough spots with very little signage. The rubber pads for tee box’s almost felt like a hinderance. Would prefer more upkeep with less holes.
@nickbain
Course was beautiful, challenging and an absolute blast to play. Had a chance to talk to the owners before and after and that just cemented it as one of the best disc golf destinations in Wisconsin.
@cpeterson
Such an amazing disc golf property. A wide variety of shots between the woods and open fields. A must stop if in the area
@jdxtine04
Amazing place. Great design and definitely a staple Wisconsin course. A must play
@jdestef23
Amazing course, tons of altitude, woods and pine woods, open shots with great landscaping. 2 new holes being added, able to play between 11-12 but not on map yet
@brycelarson84
This course is absolutely one of the most beautiful properties you'll find. Cannot recommend it enough.
@brianphillips
Beautiful private course worth the visit.. owner is really cool as well.. place plays amazing lots of hills tight tunnels and open as well .. a variety of throws here.. Only thing lacking are tee signs with footage and Navigation, so you'll need udisc for that part
@jonnyt123
Alright, I have some strong mixed feelings about this course. First, the good. The layout is easily one of the best and most fun I’ve played. Amazing holes with a good mix of open and wooded. And now, the “bad”. It’s a bit inconsistent. There’s different baskets and teepads on every hole. There also isn’t any course map on the holes, which makes some of them hard to navigate. I would definitely return though! Definitely put it on your bucket list.

Beautiful property to put a course on, worth the trip and a must play. Looking for some beautiful scenery and a great round of disc golf make this your destination for sure!
@jugdecook
So awesome in every way. Spectacular scenery. Course is located on the 45th parallel. You are literally half way between the North Pole and the Equator. Beautiful country location. If you want to experience Disc golf in a serene setting, you will love this course. So amazing. Steve and Laurel are wonderful. If you are close, you need to play this course. I only wish that I lived closer.
@professorkevlar
Fantastic course. Technical and open. Absolute must play

Another awesome day at Axldog. Awesome owners. I can't believe we were the only ones out on a beautiful Saturday. Steve had just freshly mowed the course and it was in beautiful condition. Great variety of shots with the new technical wooded holes. Get out and play it if you haven't!
