@sancho4real
No Maintenance.
@mburchfield
Shot/distance variety was very good, but around half of the tee shots were blind. Even with UDisc smart layout, it was still very difficult to find the next hole, especially on back 9. Holes were way too spread out and signage was terrible. Do not come unless you have a lot of time to kill or are playing with someone who is familiar with the course
@sunglassesgary
Fun course with great views up a hill. However, many of the holes play directly on a busy walking path. The tee pads also get slippery easier than concrete.
@pseudodudo
starts off good but after a certain point every single fairway is also a popular hiking trail // totally uphill with no downhill payoff // poor and dangerous design // really pretty park though
@aricfoster
As soon as a maintenance crew puts in three weeks of work into this course, it will be one of the best in the area. Technical is good, but some holes need trimmed in order to be playable for anyone but veterans.
@saintsleepy
Truly a North Michigan treasure. The tee pad areas & beyond need a bit better wayfinding & upkeep though, especially on the back 9. It truly plays at a different pace, too - more of an unmaintained nature hike with a side of intermediate technical disc golf. Had an awesome round here, thanks to a good deal of balance between long and short holes! A few too many blind throws without signage.
@chuckychuckem
So much intermingling lol but that’s my only complaint. FOREEEEE!
@willyjt
This course needs an update bad. I had fun but it felt like more of a hike than a round of disc golf at times. The walk from 15-16 was excessive, to say the least. Carpet tee pads need to go, much of the signage is rotted and unreadable or mising. This course has design issues too. I was disappointed by the poor utilization of elevation; almost no downhill shots and way too many holes that play uphill the entire way. 11-15 was a total slog and I felt like I was playing the course backwards. Many of the fairways are the main hiking trail, so watch out for other people. Fantastic views of the surrounding area, especially from the lookout area. Beautiful property, clean and safe.
@gurzany21
Fun course, challenging. Decent signs (if they were still standing) till about hole 10 or 11, got a little lost trying to find 15. Couldn't find an adequate trail back to the parking lot after 18.
@nattydaddy
They put trails in my disc golf cereal.
@joedate1
Extremely long walks between holes. Very neat hole design. Worth playing but you'll be hiking more between holes than actually playing.
@mfcakeparty
Most holes are short/gimmicky. Lots of walking between holes. Too many fairways are also the walking path for hikers. Overall fun, but don’t expect a bomber course.
@tomsdiscgolf
14 of 18 holes ur throwing directly headlong into pedestrians on hiking trails. Waste of a big space, could have been great.
@upnorthspartan
Fun course if you know it. It’s mapped well on the app, so you can get your distances off the tees. Tee pads are dirty/sandy so grip is an issue. Only a couple of the brooms remain and most the signage is long since destroyed.
@vthonn
Can’t tell if disc golf on way out here or what? First four holes have no signage. Quite a change from two years ago. Looks more adapted for walkers than disc golfers
@hansolo162
Hard course physically demanding then 400 step staircase to get back to your car
@discgolfrich
Great course. Need a steady aim, focus and don't miss birdie opportunities. Plays uphill for a lot of the holes. Lots of variety between backhand and forearm.
