Tick and snakes all over. Not much design baskets are just in inconvenient spots. No fairways just trees

A special course for me as it was one of the first courses I played when I first started playing. A wonderfully designed McCormack course. And beautiful. 2 sets of pads, great! Nice & flat. With rocky ground it doesn't get muddy. Last year we spoke with man who mows. Great guy & keeps it mowed well! However, it would be nice if a local DG club would help with maintenance. Trees/Bushes are overgrown. Would be nice to thin out rough areas. Not clear out just thin out. And TRIM a lot of trees/bushes. Several lines from longer pads(4 yrs ago)are non-existent now. Course needs trimming. But I still love this course.

Well cared for course in a beautiful location. Several holes didn’t have clean lines and were poke and hope shots.

Signage isn't great, signs often aren't marked for the right basket. Sometimes hard to find the basket. Lots of fairway trees makes this a difficult course, but overall very fun

Nicely mowed grass makes it easy to find your discs, most of the time.

Love the sign at the entrance telling you where everything is. Could possibly use some signs on the course saying where the next tee pad is. But wasn’t a big deal because I took a picture of the course before I teed off. The grass was cut excellent. Well done and I will be back to play again.

Very difficult course with lots of trees. Well maintained, could use some arrows pointing to the next tee pads. We loved the challenge!

Fairways are nice. Rough will punish you.

It’s nice course but not for beginners, a super technical course that is easy to lose discs at.

The views of the surround St. Francois mountains are stunning especially if playing during golden hour. Ironton is a true hidden gem.

Great course clean mowed well. Got 2 baskets mixed up. once the trees grow up it will be extremely difficult to say the least.

Summer 2020 Might be my favorite 9 basket course. Plays like 18 holes with the long a d short pads November 2024 uodate As I predicted when this course was built...it was eventually going to become the most challenging 9 hole in the Midwest and here we are several years later and the small trees are maturing and this place is not for the faint of heart. Lost disc potential from blind and over the top shots. Punsihing rough that will hide your disc. This place is extremely challenging. I'm a fairly decent 973 rated right now and am happy with anything under par when playing both pads as a full 18. There are nice birdie chances but when you play tall grass OB..boy oh boy this place become a nightmare...and I love it.

Great little course. No elevation, beautiful views, decent distance shots and equally decent technical shots. Recent pads (A and B) make a good 18 hole layout. Took one star away because I play this course monthly, and it's been years since I've seen some baskets moved.
