History
A course redesign in 2025 by Lee McConnell and Phillip Easton to improve safety and navigation reverses the main flow of the previous layout, designed by John Bryan in 2003 as an Eagle Scout project, while preserving a few former holes. John Houck designed the original 9-hole course, installed in 1994 around the area now occupied by the CORE recreation center, as well as an expansion and redesign years later that moved the course farther east in the park closer to its current location.
