About the course
Course begins near parking lot, visits nearby ponds, circles baseball fields, briefly enters woods and then returns to finish beside parking area. Lots of open throws in fields with hardly any trees mixed with shot shaping through two wooded holes and a few challenging water carries. Restrooms available in west side of park.
History
A course redesign in 2025 by Lee McConnell and Phillip Easton to improve safety and navigation reverses the main flow while preserving a few former holes of the previous layout designed by John Bryan in 2003 as an Eagle Scout project.
John Houck designed the original 9-hole course, installed in 1994 around the area now occupied by the CORE recreation center, as well as an expansion and redesign years later that moved the course farther east in the park closer to its current location.

This is a course that could be good with some funding but right now is pretty boring. Not worth your time especially with ancient DGA baskets. There were also people fishing in the fairway on hole 10.

Nice course, easier level of play. Possibly busy with pedestrians depending on time of day.
