Course Review (Opening Weekend) Overall Impression: Altitude is a challenging, yet fair, addition to the San Diego scene, offering a demanding technical game that rewards precision and punishes errant shots. Course Design and Challenge The course demands accuracy from the start. Tee shots are demanding and fair, if you hit your intended line, you have a solid path to the basket. However, missing the fairway by even a small margin can put you in a tough spot. Tight fairways and guardian trees will force you into a great scramble if you want to save par. I am particularly enjoying the Mandatory (Mando) setups. The forced shot shapes are a cool and effective way to ensure players use a variety of angles and skills to succeed. Safety and Course Infrastructure (Immediate Needs) As the disc golf community supports this location, installing and maintaining protective netting should be a high priority to prevent discs from entering the adjacent airfield and to protect parked cars. Crucial Safety & Parking Notes: * Parking: Park near Basket 3 at your own risk due to errant shots. * Hole 1: Watch for cars on the road near the basket. * Hole 2: When waiting on Tee Pad 2, move behind the designated trees to avoid incoming discs from Basket 1's finishing hole.

Fantastic, thoughtfully crafted and just technical enough to tickle my fancy. Excellent new course in central SD, just what we needed!
@anniuk
Nice layout, with different variations of shots, got very crowded on some holes
@zollingd
Great new course! They made good use of the space they have. Nice mix of shots. Awesome teeboxes and signs. It was a little confusing to find the holes since the signs from the ball golf course are still up, just had to start ignoring the white signs. One note that isn't a big deal, there's a lot of noise from I5 and the airport, so it's not the usual peaceful hike through a park that'd you'd get at some courses. Not a problem, just something worth knowing ahead of time
@zaphoid
Grass can be very wet
@janzach24
It is a great 9 hole course. Trying to play the back nine results in many backups, confusion and frustration. As a single party, I was not always invited to play through.
@rynos619
First time here and already loving it. The course brings some tight lines, precise up shots and other finesse type throws that most courses in San Diego aren’t able to provide.
@stonedaddy
Honestly I don’t think there is a course in the state that has amenities anywhere near the level they have here.
@seven4
Cool new course. Lots of shot varieties and challenges.
@jromney
A great addition to the San Diego courses. Demanding with plenty of low ceiling tight shots. Excited to play it again. Tomorrow...

Fun and challenging 🥰🥰
@jasononsax
Great course built on top of old ball golf course. Some technical shots, creative features and killer amenities.
@giantsoup
Mostly dogleg right because it’s around a circle, but still a fun course and the multiple tee pads do provide different shots for each hole.
@goodluckjoe
Course is extremely well manicured and put together technical, but still comfortable for all levels of players very clean with a lot of amenities. Highly recommend for anyone coming in out of town or who’s been playing the same courses around San Diego 10 out of five stars
@ianvalecruz
Nice tee pads, great shot variety (considering it is on an executive golf course), ground play is zero (due to being on a golf course), a little muddy on some fairways, a bit breezy in this area, but overall FUN COURSE!!! Well thought out and executed by course designers!
@mattellis
Great 9 hole course with the space there is!
