@jennyblack
Dusty a little windy but good for where it is and glad there is a course
@futurebluerose
Giving this course a rating is tough. If someone built a course on the moon, would it be impressive that it exists at all, or would it rate poorly for no scenery, limited access, and poor amenities? The course designer did a good job with what was available. Varied shot shapes, good distances, island holes, etc. The baskets even have solar lights on them for night rounds. On the other hand, this is basically throwing discs in a huge flat rocky field. There’s no shade and very little vegetation. I’m just impressed there’s a course here at all.
@frozenzac
For the location and lack of natural obstacles, this course was very well thought out. The designer/s put a lot of time and effort setting this up and made a very enjoyable course to play. Rocks and sand(and potentially foxes) will chew up your disks a bit but still worth playing! Playing at night is easy to do and enjoyable temp wise, with solar lights on baskets ( some lights need battery replacement) as well as many near by street lights. Would recommend flashlight or headlamp though in case your disk slices off course. More wind at night than the day but still playable. Overall, great course and thanks again to whoever put the time into it!
@theethanmiller
For a disc golf course where your discs get eaten up within around, it’s amazing. Somebody really put some love into this place and I appreciate it while on deployment
@ajruda3
Pretty good for what it is
@mrschindig
The course is significantly more fun to play since it has been updated! There’s Tee pads, Tee signs, solid baskets, Mando signs, OB markers, and the smart layout is updated!! You can even play at night since the solar lights have been added. There’s even a super cool mural near hole 1.
@anthonyscolaro
For what it is it will get the job done. Lethality in action!
@austinhrdwck7
Missing basket, half the course razed by bulldozer. Some attempts at signage, but baskets have spray painted over and over again. Rocks will destroy your discs, wind is a massive factor
@bradfordjollie
Windy
@raven2102
It's a disc golf course.
@cedarandsound
Groundwork is challenging, open skies otherwise. Good practice for birdies and putting. New 2023 course is an improvement
@greenepilot
Great for a deployed location.
@akl1980
Great course for deployed location
@franklin81
Nice and wide open. Great course for someone just looking for something to do on off days.
@gouginator
Any ability to play this course if not military? Living in Doha and can’t figure out who to contact.
@travis2
Has there been an update to the course? Just looking at playing it next year:)
@hebdog888
Easy to play course. Very open and not many obstacles. No trees. Lots of sand, gravel and rocks. Tee pads could use some improvements but they aren’t bad. You can play any pavement or parking lots that overlap the course as OB if you want to make it more challenging. All in all, it’s great to have out here! Pretty decent selection of donated discs inside the gym to use too!
@nemesis1386
this corse has potential, but as the only thing we got out here, it needs some updating and maybe some work. I will personally be working to update the layout and possibly creating some T-pads if I can find supplies.
