Award-winning 27 hole course that is well maintained and a good mix of open and moderately wooded holes.
Description
This is an award-winning 27 hole course that has hosted prestigious events with national and worldwide competitors. This premier course is well maintained and beautifully groomed. There are two teepads on every hole. Baskets frequently rotate between 3 different placements (red, white, or blue). Baskets were upgraded to DGA Mach 7s in 2023. Fairways are well defined and rough is forgiving throughout most holes. Well laid out design with every 9 or so holes bringing you back near the parking lot. Good mix of open and wooded holes. Bathrooms and a drinking fountain are located near hole 6. Token Creek Park also has camping available at select times of the year. There is also a dog park + walking trails on the property. Course closes for the winter. Weather dependent but typically opens in late April and closes early November. Part of the Dane County Parks disc golf permit system (along with Capital Springs DGC). $8/day or $50/year, but free for ages 15 and under. Discounted annual permits may be available for ages 65+ and Veterans. Extra $5/day fee for dogs. Purchase permits through Dane County Parks website or there is an electronic kiosk on-site.
