The Turkey Trace is our newest addition at the Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park. Consisting of 9 lightly wooded holes it offers newcomers to the sport an approachable layout while still providing a challenge to experienced players. This pitch in putt course only requires a minimal amount of discs to enjoy.
Open the UDisc course map or scorecard before you arrive, because there is poor cell service in this area. Course maps will automatically open by starting a scorecard or they can be found in Smart Layouts by clicking the little right arrow.
We invite you to plan a day trip with a picnic and enjoy playing all three of our diverse courses (45 holes). The most challenging East course and the medium difficulty level of our three courses, the West course, are located across the street from the Turkey Trace.
Add some variety and change things up a little by playing the OG layout. As shown on the tee signs and on the course sign in front of the East and West course restrooms, the OG layout was our original course at the park. It is now a combination of the East and West courses. The OG is played in the following order. East holes 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, and 18. Then the West course holes 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, and 18.
