Description
Snowmass Meadows - Red Course Nestled in the breathtaking White River National Forest, the Snowmass Meadows - Red Course is a scenic disc golf experience located at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola on Snowmass Ski Resort. This beginner-friendly course starts at the peak of the Magic Carpet kids’ lift and winds through the picturesque Meadows ski run, offering stunning mountain views and a relaxed, approachable layout. With easy throws and minimal technical challenges, it’s perfect for players of all skill levels looking to enjoy a fun, scenic round. The course features some water hazards and plenty of trees, adding just enough challenge to keep things interesting. Accessible via the Elk Camp Gondola, the course is open from June 21 to September 4, with extended weekend-only access through October 1. Gondola hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, and the ride is free for season pass holders, with day passes available for purchase at the ticket office. Or hike up anytime and ride down for free! The gondola is free Tuesday evenings starting June 24th through August 4th. We typically have random doubles league night on Tuesdays. Any and all are encouraged to join. Cash entry required. As a more forgiving alternative to the tougher Snowmass Yellow and Aspen Mountain courses, Snowmass Meadows - Red Course offers a welcoming disc golf experience in a spectacular alpine setting. There tends to be more hikers and bikers on this course than the yellow. Always be aware of bikers and hikers.
