Course location

Headline
Beautiful & challenging pro-level course. Long tunnel fairways with arching wooded ceilings. Difficult for beginners!
Description
NOTICE: The course went through a huge redesign. Use the Roy G. 2.0 Layout found in the *Smart Layouts* (new). About the course: Each hole has dual tee boxes, the pro tees are not merely behind the Am tees, they are placed at varied locations and distances. The style of the tee pads here are similar to the ones at Zilker park, the actual tee pad is the concrete rectangle. The bricks around the edges are for safety, erosion control, and aesthetics. The "bricks" are NOT part of the tee pad/area. The area is very wooded all around, but the fairways have been cleared of unneeded trees/bushes. Stone benches at every tee and the course has incorporated new innovations for erosion control [example: large diameter pads around each basket laid in the ground to prevent dig outs from shoes when you pick up your disc and turn away]. There will be a putting area (as shown in the course map), that will be there in the near future. Another note about parking/access: Use the "Get directions" button on the page and it will direct you (through GPS) to the parking lot for the course. The parking lot is now next to hole 1 and has 18 leading back to the original parking lot. Do not cross any construction fencing. Coming Soon: Another 9 hole layout will be coming to the grounds soon. (Gold Texas Course)
