History
Rockford University Disc Golf Course was originally the idea of Rockford Alum, Victor Reyes. With the help of Bobby Tassone, The Greater Rockford Area Bush Masters (GRABM), and the Rockford College Disc Golf Club members, the course conception began in 2011, with 9 holes(current back 9). After much success, the Rockford College Disc Golf Club sought out to add 9 more holes to the course. Funding was approved, and a 6 month long carve out began on the front 9 holes. With massive amount of help from many members of the Rockford community, and students, the course was completed in the spring of 2012. To date, the course draws many players from all over the community, to experience this unique college course, in the heart of Rockford Illinois. The course will challenge all types of shots, and will punish errant shots significantly. Making it a feel good, fun round for all skill levels!
