About the course

Beautiful land on an old golf course. Mostly open with some wooded shots. One of the best 3 hole stretches on holes 8, 9 and 10.

This course is AWESOME but very hard. It used to be a ball golf course and the holes show that. The holes are long and the fairways are just tight enough that they’re tough to hit when you’re throwing for distance. The rough is ROUGH. I just played when all the plants are dead but the amount of branches still makes it overwhelming sifting through the rough for a lost disc. Pour one out for my Leopard. I would definitely not play here in the summer unless I was stupid confident with my aiming. But it’s a beautiful property and very unique round so if you can make it when the trees are dead it’s a good time.

Top five course in the Chicago area. Scorable if you keep the drive in the fairway but punishing of you miss. A couple holes don't drain well and there are significant weeds off line.

The first 4 and last 4 holes that this course seem poorly planned and a bit laughable. The middle of the course has some really cool and has interesting shots. The tee pads are tiny and it is obvious right away as it effects every shot you take. They also have what looks like relief cuts in the concrete which effects your footing. The signs are inaccurate because they have moved baskets and not updated the sign. If your disc goes into the rough you have a good chance of getting Swiss cheesed by thorn and sticker bushes. Basically, this course is mowed in the middle of intense thicket. wayfinding is some of the best I have experienced. Its impossible to get lost. I would not recommend this course for beginners. A minimum of two seasons experienced for this place. Very experienced players will like this course for sure.
