Course name
Owen High School
Course location
Black Mountain, North Carolina
Headline
9 hole high school course with multiple tees and a longer safari option available.
Description
Most of the tees are on dirt, grass, or shared pavement (no money for tee pads) so be careful with your footing and always yield to cars. Moderately hilly Lightly wooded Nice variety of mostly open shots. Good elevation. Hole 5 starts behind the baseball diamond. On school days, the course is open from 3:30 p.m. until sunset. On the weekends and during the summer, the hours are 8 a.m. until sunset. The course is closed during school hours and major sporting events. Park outside 2nd gate to play when gate is closed. This is a high school campus; no smoking, drinking, cursing, or pets. 9 hole course (with longs, mediums, and shorts). NOTE: Due to multiple local course closures, Owen is seeing an uptick in players (great!) but for the time being players are asked NOT to play the safari layout (and it has temporarily been removed from udisc) because it severely interferes with the course flow if more than one card is on the course. Thanks for understanding!
