A city park layout, no undergrowth, challenges forehand and backhand players.
Description
The course has 19 permanent holes, featuring long and short tees for each hole. Two temporary holes are added for competitions. It is the most popular course in the area! It's free to play, no tee times, and open year around. The only requirements: be courteous of others, and please don't litter! The UToledo Rocket Disc Golf Sport Club does periodic course cleanups. There are 2 to 5 tournaments held each year. There are weekly leagues, as well as a Special Olympics league, March thru October. Accessibility
Limited mobility/cane accessible - Ramp from street level to grass level available at hole 10, near playground. Course is grassy and dries relatively quickly except for the area around hole 1's basket and 2's teeing area. Lack of mowing could impede wheelchair movement until Memorial Day, due to municipality fears of tractors getting stuck in spring seasonal soft land.
