History
Lobdell Reserve Disc Golf Course was designed and installed in 2003 by a group of high schoolers with grant support from Licking County. Working under strict guidelines—no trees could be cut and only existing paths through the woods could be used—the team built the course with creativity, teamwork, and a love for the game. Over the years, Lobdell has grown into one of Ohio’s top-rated courses, thanks to the dedication of the disc golf community and local volunteers. Special thanks to Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club and everyone who continues to care for the course, and to Scott Jackson, Ryan Sitler, and Troy Hottle, the original crew that made it happen.
