DiscGolfPark designed by 2009 Disc Golf World Champion, Avery Jenkins and the 1st DiscGolfPark in Louisiana!
Description
The Louisiana Healthcare Connections DiscGolfPark was evaluated and designed by 2009 Disc Golf World Champion, Avery Jenkins & Jamie Thomas. Established in December 2015. The LHC DiscGolfPark at Scotlandville is the 1st DiscGolfPark in the state of Louisiana and the 4th DiscGolfPark installed in the United States! An advanced level course with lightly wooded but mostly open fairways. A very challenging course with OB on 17 of the 18 holes including three par 4's and two par 5's for an overall par 61. Mostly flat terrain with slightly rolling landscape along the Monte Sano Bayou that will create a natural boundary between fairways and comes into play on almost half of the holes. Baskets are highly visible with the bright yellow bands and can be seen from the teepad on 15 of the 18 holes, even on the longer par 4's. Course is open from sunrise to sunset. Thanks to the generous contributions from Louisiana Healthcare Connections and Baton Rouge Parks & Recreation (BREC)! Course Stats: Holes: 18-holes with single teepad and single basket position. Main Layout: 7,600 ft (2,317 m) Par 61 - Average Hole Distance: 422 ft (129 m). Shortest Hole: 225 ft (69 m) Par 3 Longest Hole: 760 ft (232 m) Par 5
