Work in progress that gets better every day. Holes 1-17 are considered finished (though additional work will take place soon, including the installation of red and black tees and the addition of out-of-bonds markers). Hole 18 is ruffed in with plans to finish this hole this year (2025), including the construction of a new foot bridge. We thank you for your patience as we work through these projects and welcome volunteer help (see email contact below if you are interested in helping).
Course has 3 distinct areas:
Section 1 (holes 1-6) are in an old apple orchard. They are fun short holes with significant obstacles and Ace opportunities. If you are looking for a quick round, we recommend stopping at hole 6.
Section 2 (holes 7-12) requires a stronger arm. They go through the woods and a field that is full of great Vermont views and holes that ask you to rip long drives. Some shot shaping required on a few holes.
Section 3 (holes 13-18) are woods holes. Accurate drives are needed in this section to make par. They include two par 5s, one that is 645’ long and another that requires wise shot placement. Shot shaping / planning is a must in this section.
The course is free to use year-round, however, there is a general admissions fee to enter the State Park during the busy season (Memorial Day weekend until Indigenous Peoples Day weekend). During these months, bathrooms and drinking water are available. Outside of those months, there are no fees to enter the park, but bathrooms are closed, and the water is shut off. There are times in the spring and fall when the entrance gate may be closed. During these times, guests are still welcome to enjoy the park, though they will have to park outside the gate. If the gate is closed, the course is designed to be played by starting at hole 13 (right by the gate), then ending on hole 12 (right by the gate). During these times, an unmarked bonus hole is available starting by hole 18’s basket and ending in the practice basket across the parking lot (on your way to hole 1 from 18). This is only available when the parking lot is empty.
Additional recreational opportunities are available here as well including mountain biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, camping and park programing.
