Where has this course been? Even as an avid south Austin player, having passed this course many times on the way to Moody’s, I never made the ~30 minute trip to play this track. Now I’ll be coming frequently. Challenging, picturesque holes woven around a deep, sheer trench. Thrilling variety: two par 3s measure at elite professional length, two under 200 feet. Claustrophobic technicality to open fields. Sure, tee pads are rubber. I’ve seen much worse. Wayfinding is not easy your first time, but that’s never a big deal (I’d rather walk more if it means better hole designs). I’m shocked that I haven’t heard more about this course.

Fun track, sketchy spots along the creek so be careful. Hit your line and you’ll be fine.
