Description
J.P. Mosley Park Disc Golf Course is a 37-hole course located in J.P. Mosley Park in Stockbridge, GA. The course was ranked #4 in the state of Georgia in 2024 and 2025 by UDisc. "The Moze", as it is affectionately called, consists of everything from monster holes (with two par 5s over 1000 feet from the gold tee), to long wooded fairways, to short ace runs, to tight, technical holes, to water in play, to mandatory routes, and the signature Skull Island and Stonehenge holes. A wide variety of shots is needed to be successful. With 37 holes, there is opportunity to create a variety of disc golf experiences based how you feel on a given day. The course is divided into three sections based on development dates: the original 18 (OG 1-18), the East 9 (2A-C and 4A-F), and the West 9 (1W-9W). There are a few alternate holes (including the original hole 12 now designated 12A) that are used for tournament play or flow of play. All Gold, Blue, and Red tee pads are concrete. The West 9 currently has Gold and Blue tee pads only, with the potential to add Red tee pads to these holes in the future. All holes have more than one tee position and ample signage. There are numerous layouts on UDisc to guide play along the 37 hole track, or pick The Full Monty, 37-hole layout and choose your own experience. J.P. Mosley Park DGC. Is consistently rated as one of the top courses in the state of Georgia. The course is constantly improving through the partnership of Henry County with the HCDGC.

History
This beautifully designed course was created in multiple phases, originally opening in 2003. The most recent phase, the West 9, was opened on March 3, 2023. The course is well cared for by Henry County and the Henry County Disc Golf Club. The course would not be possible without the commitment of Henry County to the sport of disc golf as a great activity for the residents of the county. J.P. Moseley Park was named for Joseph Parks Moseley. He owned the farm land on Millers Mill Road in Stockbridge which is now J.P. Moseley Park. Mr. Moseley would be pleased to know the land is now being used for youth athletics, which was a love of his.
