Description
Hyzer Pines Disc Golf Course is the premier 18 hole par 3 course for the Bend and Sisters area of Central Oregon. The Primary course designer is Ryan Lane. Situated next to Sisters High School and SPRD, Hyzer Pines' equipment consists of Innova Discatcher Baskets and Launch Pads Rubber tee pads. Hyzer Pines is located on school property and so alcohol is not permitted on the course. Cigarette smoking is not permitted due to the dryness of the terrain. Hyzer Pines is a unique compliment to the Oregon Disc Golf scene. Elevation is 3100 ft and so disc stability is clearly more pronounced than at sea level. Topographically Hyzer Pines is flat and wooded with Ponderosa Pine Trees and sagebrush subalpine vegetation. There is one water hazard and no Poison Oak or other hazardous plants. Cement Tee Pads were not implemented due to the elevation and temperature extremes which would cause cracking and breakage
