Description
A Disc Golf Discovery Zone is a beginner-friendly area designed to introduce new players to disc golf in a fun, accessible way. Unlike traditional courses, these zones feature shorter 100' holes, interactive elements, and instructional signage. Each hole is thoughtfully designed to teach specific shot shapes, such as hyzers, anhyzers, and straight shots, helping players develop control and versatility. They're ideal for families, casual players, or anyone looking to practice the basics in a relaxed environment. Expect a low-pressure, welcoming atmosphere perfect for learning and refining your disc golf skills. The Greenwood Park Disc Golf Discovery Zone includes a 5 hole discovery course which will teach players 10 traditional disc golf throws and 5 scramble style shots. There are also two standalone putting stations to practice your short game, as well as for group games of 2 to 30 players.
