Headline
Calgary’s first, temporary, 21 Hole Disc Golf Course and designed for customized tournament play
Description
The Currie Reservoir Disc Golf Park is a new vision for disc sports in Calgary. Designed to challenge advanced and newer players alike, this temporary course has two, grass tee pads to choose from. Throwers are encouraged to test their mettle on the unforgiving yellow layout where par is tough and birdies are few and far between. For a more score-able round, consider the green tees, but don’t be deceived, with the mix of hazards and out of bounds it will provide developing players with an opportunity to fine-tune their game. Competitive play was also a factor in the design of this course with the ability to compress various fairways into longer more challenging layouts. This idea is to make sure play is fresh and ever changing. Casual play will utilize all 21 holes on a regular basis. Dogs not permitted on the course. Washrooms are open during peak season only. Currently utilizing an 18 hole Winter layout with all hazards removed!
