History
First founded as a small 9 hole course known as "Steelhead Disc Golf Course" in the early 2000's and designed by Mike Belchik, the course was expanded to a tight 18 hole layout by Nate Hambright a couple years later. In 2022, the park district bought an adjoining property and the course was entirely redesigned and renamed "Chinook Salmon Disc Golf Course" which was also designed by Michael Belchik with input from other local disc golfers. In 2025, 8 new pin locations were added, with benches and alternate teepad locations to come soon.
