Description
Address: Cadogan St, Carindale – the 1st tee is opposite the intersection of Breadsell St • Parking is available on-street in Cadogan Street, and Settlers Street on the southern side of Bulimba Creek • Public transport: There are bus stops in Cadogan St • Carindale shopping centre is nearby on Old Cleveland and Creek Roads ~1.8km, and there’s convenience shops on the corner of Old Cleveland and Scrub Roads 200m south of tee 11 (including a good value bakery & KFC) • No toilets, or water bubblers. Nearest bubbler is ~400m west on the bike path. From tee#1, toilets & water are available ~900m west on the bike path, or ~700m north via Breadsell St to Minnippi Parklands • The course is subject to flooding, which can take a while to recede. There are numerous areas with standing water following heavy rain irrespective of creek flooding. If there is flooding, before going to the course, you can look online for the Old Cleveland Road gauging station on Bulimba Creek (http://www.bom.gov.au/fwo/IDQ65389/IDQ65389.540128.plt.shtml) and if the level of the creek is above 3.8m, the course will likely have some inundation from the creek for holes 9-13; or above 4.6m for holes 1-8, and above 4.8m for holes 14-18. [TBC] Please refrain from loud noises near houses near tee to target #10, target #11 and tees #15 & 16
