Nine-hole course nestled under gorgeous old growth pine trees in well maintained public park.
Description
You will find the welcome sign and map on the east end of the parking lot of the Balsam Township Hall at 41388 Scenic Highway 7. As you enter the Balsam Community Park the first tee is to your left. Nine holes circle around the volleyball courts, baseball field, playground and pavilion. Most holes are located in a lightly wooded, well-maintained area on the far end of the park. The course ends near the hockey rink on the other side of the hall, not far from where you parked. Each hole is designed for both experienced and amateur players, with challenging shots available to earn better scores. The course is distinguished by its ease and comfort of walking while still navigating challenging obstacles and angles. This course was developed by Henry Brown as part of his Eagle Scout project in 2022.
